Summary

Cover to Little Eva no. 16 (St. John Publications). The character was created in 1952, presumably to replace Little Audrey after the license passed on to Harvey Comics. The book had a successful run until 1956, after which it was continued under the Pines label until 1967 (although most of the content was reprinted from the 1950s). Like many children's comics of the period, Eva was translated for the European market, appearing under the title "Rosette" in France.

The St. John series is now in the public domain due to lapsed copyright.
